The Ballhawks season got started early with a workout on Sunday at Wrigley .
Moe , Lefty Rich , Ken , Israel , and myself arrived at 1 . While we waited for
practice to begin we talked about spring training , our high hopes for 08 , and
the Cubs 100 years of futility . 50 of which Moe has witnessed first hand.
After waiting a half hour , the screens and batting cage were taken down and
I left for the day . Whoops !! .
Reports later in the day had at least 3 leaving the park . Now , just under 24
hours later that number has been raised to the 6 or 7 range. More details later
as I head to the park for a LOOOOOOOONG afternoon of baseball and rain !

With Zambrano on the hill I played roof ball for half the game with no action on Clark or Addison
Headed back to play homeruns as the wind shifted blowing straight out to left at 20 mph. The
only game balls to leave the park ended up being foul onto Sheffield where someone threw back
a Prince Fielder blast ???? WHY ??? , and Felix Pie gave a resident , on his way home form work ,
